Manchester is a city in the south central part of England's Northwest. The city has seen much expansion in the early 19th Century, and you can see, even today, the difference is that this expansion on the way to the city, the urbanization of the city is constructed to coincide with the Victorian era and the Industrial Revolution.


Manchester can also be an art center, or the media, universities and trade, and is considered the second largest city in the United Kingdom. It is very populated, and it is considered the third most visited city in the United Kingdom by foreign visitors. Manchester hotels are very cheap and there are many other amenities you find in this city to be very well managed and well maintained.


Manchester is one of the three main bases BBC in England. It is also the basis for the BBC one region of the Northwest that programs like Northwest are produced here tonight. BBC also provides certain channels they moved to London in the district of Manchester.


Manchester has had its own television company in 2000. All local and international content in the national television stations and on TV from BSkyB. As regards radio, Manchester has the largest number of local radio stations outside London, BBC Radio, Key 103, Galaxy, Piccadilly Magic 1152, and much more. You can also find the student radio station at the University of Manchester Metropolitan University.


The Guardian is a newspaper, was founded in Manchester in 1800 and based in the city. The Manchester Evening News, a newspaper with a wide distribution throughout the country and it is free in the city on Thursday and Friday. The North-West metro station is free to connect U-Bahn and railway stations.


Manchester is in some Hollywood films such as my son and Manchester Grand Hotel and, more recently, the Japanese animated film Steamboy recommended. The city operates the Manchester International Festival and the Commonwealth Film Festival as well. Granada Television Quay Street is, and it is the manufacturer of the oldest and most watched television soap opera Coronation Street.
